Hi, I’m Shara.

I’d say my most rewarding work is capturing families and the simple, everyday moments that make life so special. I spend countless hours creating with my kids, and cherish these portraits we have captured over the years. I aim to curate an experience that allows you to be yourselves, comfortably and authentically and to create an atmosphere where you can feel free to laugh, play, and be immersed in the magic of the moment.

I bring 20 years of experience experience working in the commercial and editorial fields, creating for clients like Vogue, The FT Magazine, Good Weekend Magazine and numerous boutique creative agencies both locally and abroad. I've traveled the world for my work, lived in London and New York for over a decade, and had my work exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery London upon winning the National Portrait Prize.

I have loved the hustle and bustle of city life for years, but recently my family and I craved a slower pace. We moved to the South Coast of NSW to be barefoot more often, immerse ourselves in the ocean daily, be surrounded by nature and hopefully learn to surf again. I grew up surfing and swimming in the waves, and am enjoying reconnecting with that part of myself.

Your session covers:

• Your time on location with me (approximately 1 hour)

• A pre-shoot consultation. We will discuss what your family enjoys and what your ideal portraits may look like and I will give you a comprehensive prep guide to help you feel empowered and prepared for your shoot

• 10 high-res digital images, retouched and ready for printing

• You will receive a proofing gallery of 40+ images to make your selections 1-2 weeks after our shoot

• You have the option of upgrading to the full gallery, packages start at $400

• A booking fee of $250 is due to secure your booking date
